Accommodation
Saint Mary's University is offering a limited number of
reduced rate dorm rooms in their dormitory facilitie - The Loyola Residence.
They are quite a bit less than a hotel would charge in downtown Halifax and an
easy walk to the halls where the speakers will present. These will be offered on a
first-come, first-served basis to attendees. They ask that you deal directly
with them to book your room.

Flights
FlyHalifax maintains a website with information
about specifically which airlines fly into Halifax and the site has 800 numbers
for each airline.

Ground Transportation
The airport is a lengthy distance from downtown
Halifax. A cab ride can cost as much at $50.
We recommend Airporter Inc. who provides shuttle service to and from various
hotels in the Metro Area. Core hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to midnight
daily.
Regular rates for the Airporter service are listed on their website at $18.00 (Canadian) one way. Children
under 10 years of age accompanied by an adult ride for free.
