Columbus was not first. Join us to hear the latest research October 9, 10, 11...

The definitive gathering of world experts on the possibility of pre-Columbian contact.

With the findings at L'Anse aux Meadows, it's now clearly established  that  Columbus was not first. But there's a lack of evidence that this particular group of Norse stayed. With that, the isolationists say there was no further contact until Columbus got near the continent. But as you will see in the Atlantic Conference 2009, the evidence is now overwhelming that there was regular contact across the Atlantic long before Columbus. Join us on October 9, 10, 11 and a to-be-announced second weekend as we bring you the very latest research on this fascinating subject.

The research will begin to be posted right here by October 1st.  Then sign in on the 9th, 10th & 11th to interact live with the researchers.

Visit the website beginning in late September and no later than October 1st to study the research presentations by each speaker. Then on October 9th, 10th and 11th, join a live chat room with the speakers or call in live as we interview them.  You can also join one of the many Participation Groups forming all over the world.

NOT MUCH TIME LEFT BEFORE THE CONFERENCE. Get your account set up at BlogTalkRadio now and sign in every Thursday night to hear Rick's show. It's a great and fun way for you to test the technology before the conference. That account and this websie are all you'll need to participate in the conference.

The conference is free. It's online. You can attend either from your home internet connection or by joining one of the Participation Groups forming worldwide.

The last conference, in Halifax, was a big success. But you had to get onto an airplane to attend. This time around, the conference will be a live, online participatory experience for everyone. If you're tech savvy, sign on from home. If you need help or just want to meet likeminded folks, travel to the nearest gathering, or as we call them, Participation Groups. These PGs will have technically savvy folks who will hold a gathering and all in the room will participate live with the web-based conference. It will be like a mini conference. Same speakers, same participation, only you'll have someeone tech savvy to run the computer pograms, making it much easier. Learn more >>

Right below this paragraph you'll note a slide show. Click that small green arrow at the bottom of it, and make sure your volume is turned up. This is exactly the experience you'll have of seeing the presentations from the speakers. (I promise, they'll be a lot more exciting than my slide show here!!)  You'll see the presentations in the weeks leading up to the October 10th weekend, then you'll be able to get online and hear them speak live about their work at appointed hours. You'll be able to call in, or use a live chat program to ask questions of both these folks and other users. It's a different way to attend a conference, but it will be just as interesting.
